This morning we’re having a big, hot breakfast and not in any rush to get out of the house. We have at least 4″ of snow on the ground here in Townsend and every school system in East Tennessee is closed today.
All of the roads in Great Smoky Mountains National Park are closed and that’s no surprise since the park will typically get at least twice as much snow as we get here along the lower elevation boundary. We did some fishing a few days ago and I’ll probably use this opportunity to put together another video fishing report.
For now I have to prepare for a snowball threat laid down by a certain 5 year old girl who’s putting a snow suit and boots on. See you by the snowman!
Update: Snowfall Totals in the Smokies
