Last week Charity took Paulette Carver out for some fly fishing instruction in the Smokies. They started with learning how to cast a fly rod, then progressed on to reading water and even catching a few fish.
Paulette decided to take a break and sit on the bank to have a quick smoke. While she was doing that she told Charity she had tried to quit smoking but this would be a good moment for her to observe Charity, a real expert, work the water and learn from watching.
Charity didn’t intend to catch a fish like this (on the third cast), but she did demonstrate that if you make a good cast and get a good drift there’s no telling what you might catch!
