Now that our guide season has slowed down we’ve had some time to go back and remember our time on the Henry’s Fork in Idaho. This was our sixth consecutive year hosting a group at TroutHunter, and while we say it every year, this year REALLY was the best yet. We had absolutely perfect weather, not too cold and not too hot. Fishing was great regardless of the way you liked to fish and everyday there were some truly large fish caught by folks in our group.
Charity and I always like to go back to some of our old favorite places while looking for new places we’ve never seen. After nearly 20 years of traveling to the region that forces us to find more out of the way places. We always say that Yellowstone Country is like a second home to us and the crew at TroutHunter is like our extended family and it’s a joy to see them every September. Here’s a look at some of our favorite pictures from the trip plus we’ve already planned our dates for September 2017. Come join the fun! It’s every bit as fun as it looks.
