Here’s what we have planned with Big Sky Anglers at the Golden Stone Inn in West Yellowstone, Montana at the West Entrance to YellowstoneNational Park. This is smack in the middle of the Holy Land of fly fishing. There are more famed waters to sample here than there is time to fish.

Anglers will have the opportunity to fish the Madison River, Gallatin River, Henry’s Fork, Hebgen Lake, Henry’s Lake, and all of the waters inside Yellowstone National Park including the Firehole River and Lamar Valley.

Big Sky Anglers is owned and operated by our friend Jonathan Heames. He was one of the first guides we connected with when we began hosting trips at TroutHunter in 2011.
Designed with the fly fisher in mind, the rooms at Golden Stone Inn are “Modern Mountain”. Hang your waders and place your rods in the custom-made rod racks. If you are feeling creative, there is even a place for you settle in and tie flies! You may want to relax on your porch and enjoy the sunrise or sunset, while sipping on a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
In the morning, please join us in the lodge for breakfast or grab your breakfast “to go” on your way to the river. Evening activities may include s’mores making or craft beer tasting by the fire. Our staff and fly fishing guides will be happy to join you for evening conversation and swapping stories of the day.
