There was a good bit of snow here in the Smoky Mountains today and most of the roads were closed. We got a good bit of rain yesterday, but water levels didn’t rise as much as I expected they would.
Streams are easily fishable and water should be in good shape this weekend. Don’t expect much from the tailwaters. Reservoirs still have way more water than TVA wants and they’re still trying to keep lakes low for flood control.
I went for a short walk today along the Middle Prong of Little River and thought I’d take a little bit of cell phone video. It shows the water level at least as well as a photo and if you’re like me, just seeing some moving water can do wonders for your state of mind when you’ve been home bound for a while.

Counting the days until we get to come down there and fish with you all. Been fishing the Mad up here in Ohio, but the water is COLD! The fishing is very slow right now….So I’ll just sit around and put some flies together. Thanks for thew update Ian. Pastor Ray

Thanks Ian. I’m stuck in Louisville and haven’t seen moving water in a month or more. Sweet.
