Hazel Creek Fly Fishing Camp Out
Autumn 2008
Thursday, October 16 - Sunday, October 19
This trip has become a favorite and always books up! All you need to bring is your sleeping bag, clothes, and fishing gear. We’ll take care of the rest. We’re also offering two options for this trips. You can opt for the full package which includes a guide for two days of fishing or you can fish on your own and come along for everything else. We’ve chosen a long weekend setup in mid October to get on the stream during some prime fishing dates.

We’ll depart on the first day to take a boat shuttle across Fontana Lake to our camp site at Proctor on Hazel Creek. Large tents, cots, and even a shower will be set up for our time in camp. The meals are nothing short of phenomenal. The menus typically include such items as ribeye steaks, shrimp, fresh trout, salads, and cobblers. Big, made-from-scratch breakfasts will be served every morning. We’ll make up sack lunches after breakfast and head for the water. We’ll fish two full days then depart after lunch on the fourth day. You can get in some fishing after your arrival on Hazel Creek Thursday as well as Sunday morning before departure. This allows for four days of fishing on this fabled water.

$600 per person without a guide
