It’s been a bumpy ride when it comes to the weather we’ve had over the past week. We had some wet, windy, and cold weather over the weekend that was pretty miserable to be completely honest. Fortunately the sun has come out and warmed things up nicely.
It took a while for the autumn colors to get started but they are really rolling now and they’ll almost certainly continue well into November from what we can tell.
We’re still seeing above average water levels for fall so expect to fish with a combination of nymphs and dry flies. Fishing has been markedly slower in the mornings than afternoons and a little less water would certainly help the dry fly situation. It looks like this cycle of wet weather will continue though, so we’ll enjoy the sun while we get it!
